The Listening Lab was founded by a team of hearing aid specialists from Malaysia and Singapore who have more than four decades of global and local experience in the assessment of hearing, fitting of hearing and tinnitus devices, aftercare, counselling and support in post fitting services.

As a homegrown, regional company, we understand the prevailing attitudes, norms and the worries of people who suffer from the results of untreated hearing loss, whether it is from having hearing loss themselves, or if it’s because a family member or close friend suffers from it. In either situation, we understand that it can be difficult to manage these relationships when it is impacted by the loss of hearing and communication.

Founder & Executive Director

Kelvin Lee is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, specializing in hearing-related devices such as hearing aids, tinnitus management tools, and cochlear implants. He began his career as a hearing aid acoustician in 2002 and has since held senior management roles in Siemens Medical Instruments and The Hearing Solution Group, where he oversaw retail operations, marketing, and business development across the Asian region.

Beyond his work in audiology, Kelvin is a successful serial entrepreneur. He co-founded several technology companies, including Handy Apps Pte Ltd, whose products have achieved over 65 million downloads worldwide.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Kelvin is deeply committed to community service. He volunteers as a certified community mediator with the Community Mediation Centre under the Ministry of Law in Singapore, helping to enhance the quality of life among families and neighbors. He is also an active grassroots advocate, with a particular focus on sustainable living initiatives.
